CLASS III FELLOW

"The program provided extraordinary opportunities to participate in real governance, to sit at the table with current and future state leaders."

SUPPORT

While the Florida Gubernatorial Fellows program has quickly established itself as an indispensable program, it needs support to continue thriving.

Two incredibly beneficial donors were Al and Dawn Hoffman, who created a $1.5 million endowment to support and strengthen the program. The annual income from the endowment provides additional opportunities and a financial incentive for students to choose public service as a career.

"It is our hope that the program will be successful in enabling top-notch future leaders to choose the public sector for their career paths," Al Hoffman said.

"We hope this will serve as a motivating example for other companies or individuals to support state programs," he said. "Public and private partnerships offer a unique opportunity for the private sector to help government meet the needs of our state."
